Ohh.. the treasures!

Yesterday I visited my aunt and she gave me an antique photo album to scan. Yeay!! Like a child in a candy shop! Soooo... I have about 60 new images for you! Over the next few weeks I'll post them. Now, I can give her the album back and she'll let me take another.. and another.. and another.. you cannot begin to imagine the amount of antique images, postcards, letters, and ephemera that she has! Wooohoooo!!

Beautiful baby photo...love it! Is that Malden Massachusetts under the photographers name? I have many old photos like this that were in my Mom's treasures, most from Maine and Mass. Thanks for the sharing *elaine*

YOu know, I've been begging my aunt and cousin to let me scan the old photos they have, to no avail... sigh.

One of my great grand uncles somewhere down the line, was one of the first photographers in Maine! His favorite subject was my gramma's mom as a child. She was this adorable curly haired cutie with a pet chicken!

Very frustrating, cuz they packed them away, never to see the light of day again...

Thank your aunt for her wonderful generosity! And I thank you for yours!
