Happy 2012 and a Fresh Start

Happy 2012 everyone! I'm back after a brief hiatus of posting new images. Whew! Was that a crazy Christmas or what? I hope to bring you many more free images this year and grow this blog bigger than before! One of my goals this year is to learn more about you- my fellow vintage image collectors because this blog wouldn't be so popular without you! Would you be willing share a little about you and how you are using the images I provide? Do you have a blog you would like to share? What would you like to see from The Vintage Moth in 2012? Feel free to post these answers or anything else in the comments section. I look forward to hearing from you! -Sarah

I collect vintage images, and one of my favorite sources is very old (from the late 1800's to the 1930's) issues of St. Nicholas Magazine for Children. I get them from Ebay. I love using them in my collages and mixed media work. I so appreciate the images that you offer on your site. There is simply nothing like vintage! If you visit my Country Life blog, click on the page for Mixed Media just below the blog header. (You can get to my writing blog from there; just click on the little notebook badge on the right.) I also have a page of my miniature buildings; that page title is "My World in Miniature." Have a blessed day, and thanks again for such good stuff and inspiration.

Hello! Vintage images are a particular love of mine. I agree there's nothing quite like them. I download all that I can, and I
use them for my artsy greeting cards and also for scrapbooking.
I don't have a blog -- I enjoy everyone else's far to much! Thank you for all you do for us!

Ana Marquez- You have some really great images on your blog! Thank you for following The Vintage Moth and I hope you have a fantastic New Year! ;)

Mary Ann- I haven't seen the St. Nicolas Magazines- I will have to check them out on Ebay. Your miniature houses are amazing! I'm curious of your thought process on why you keep them free of people but yet have evidence that people were there. I really want to see more pics!

Sheila A- Thank you so much for commenting and thanks for following the blog. I hope to bring many more images in 2012 for you.
